Double First Degree

Another special night at Lodge St George with 3 significant items of work and a great group of visitors. We started with a Double First Degree on Ben Thorne and M.T. Both terrific candidates.

A ballot for Initiation for Mr John Herbert followed. John will take his first step next month.

We also had our election of officers for 2014/15. Congratulations to Bro Tony Anderson our Master-Elect who will steer Lodge St George through its 99th year.

Third Degree on Bro Peter Levine @ Lodge Ashton

On Monday night Lodge Ashton raised Lodge St George's Bro Peter Levine to the sublime degree of a Master-mason before a room-full of Members and Visitors. Fellow Scottish Ritual Lodges St George, St Andrew, Tuscan, Morningside and Caledonian, plus Dennistoun Lodge witnessed a very well organised and performed ceremony, followed by an enjoyable and enthusiastic festive board.

St George compliments Ashton for their very professional performance, and extends their thanks to the WM and Officers for assisting St George in undertaking the ceremony.

Tonight at Stephens Conclave Bro Nick Jelicic was Inducted into the Order of the Secret Monitor.

We were also honoured to have the Most Worthy Grand Supreme Ruler, MWthy Bro Brian Newton, in attendance.
