Great night on Wednesday with one of our youngest members, Bro Brenton Arthur, taking his Third Degree.
We had a good roll up of both members and visitors including a visiting Master from Singapore, Wor Bo Alex Maroske, WM of The Eastern Gate Lodge No 2970 UGLE.
A tough meeting first up for the year but it was handled well and a good ceremony was enjoyed by all.
A great start to the year with 5 sets of papers in hand and 5 further enquiries fielded by lodge members.

2015 was our Centenary year, the Lodge having been established in 1915 as Lodge St George No 1152 Scottish Constitution.
The District Grand Master for Scotland, RW Bro Thomas Burstow, and a team of District Grand Officers consecrated our lodge in July 1915.
On October 31 last year Grand Lodge was invited to to again perform the same ceremony. A Ceremony of Re-Enactment of Consecration was performed by the current Grand Master, MW Bro Dr Gary Bacon, and a team of Grand Officers which included the Deputy Grand Master (and now Grand Master-elect) RW Bro Alan Townson.
It was a tremendously successful day with over 130 in the lodge room and with a Ceilidh in the evening to round out proceedings.
The first pics of the event are now becoming available and they will be posted here in an album which will be added to.
In this post is a picture of the Grand Master offering corn as an emblem of plenty - one of the key parts of the ceremony. We understand that the vessels used in October were the same set used by Grand Master Burstow in 1915.
Great night at Stephens Royal Arch Chapter. Companion Allan Patman completed his Exaltation by taking the second part of the Holy Royal Arch Degree. Great work by all involved.
Special mention goes to our own Comp Peter Watson who delivered the Closing Address for the first time wonderfully well.
As mentioned previously, our lodge has provided a steady stream of members for Stephens Royal Arch Chapter No 78 since its inception in 1927, including half of the First Principals who have presided over the Chapter in that time. Currently 19 members of Lodge St George are also members of Stephens Royal Arch Chapter.
