Third Degree - Bro Nathan Cammerman

Third Degree at Lodge St George last night. Bro Nathan Cammerman was Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason.

Great to have a number of our Masonic friends with us as well.

We balloted for 5 new members last night - 2 initiates and 3 affiliates. Bro Phillip Jenkinson was with us to hear the results of the ballot and will be joining us from Schools Lodge in Sydney.

Next month is Double First on our two newly balloted for applicants, Mr Ian Docherty and Mr Jonathan Waite.

Our 3 new Affiliates are Wor Bro Gary Jones, Bro Phillip Jenkinson and Bro Ian Jamieson.

Also in April we will be balloting for a further 6 applicants - 5 initiates and 1 affiliate. We have also another two sets of papers out with potential initiates. All internal referrals.

2016 looks a challenging and busy year for Lodge St George already and our newly awakened sister Lodge Silver Cross No 17.

Second Degree on Bro Brad Wessling @ The Stanley Lodge

Brother Brad Wessling, who was Initiated into Freemasonry in August 2015, was last night passed to the second degree at The Stanley Lodge. Brad was a great candidate and enjoyed his second step in freemasonry.

It was a great ceremony and was well attended by Stanley brethren and visitors. The work was of a high standard as we have come to expect from Lodge Stanley.

A number of St George Brethren were in attendance including our WM, Wor Bro Ray Hodson, Senior and Junior Wardens - Bros Malcolm Teasdale and Jeff Dole; Bro Matt Parslow; and Wor Bros Murray Welch and Mal Lambert.

The music for the ceremony was provided by our own organist Keith Redman who is also Stanley’s organist. As is always the case with Keith, the music was of the highest standard.
