Double First Degree on Matthew Cross and John Burton.

Another great night at Lodge St George welcoming in two terrific new members. Matt and John were very well prepared candidates and the ceremony ran very smoothly.

The first night for the new officer team and many first time charges went off extremely well. A couple of late notice fill-ins who also did superbly well.

Congratulations also to Wor Bro Tony Anderson who received his Life Vice Patron's charity jewel and Bro Mepi Faoagali who received his Life Governor's jewel.

Mepi also received his white bee pin for proposing Matt and Bro Phil Jenkinson received his white bee for proposing John.

We were very pleased to welcome a number of visitors old and new.

Double First again next month and again in September.

Lodge St George and Grand Lodge

A great turn out from lodge members for the Grand Installation last Saturday. Eighteen all up. Six in Grand Office, two regalia bearers and ten in attendance as supporters. It was greatly appreciated.

David Sherrit continues his role as a Senior Grand Warden and Rodger Klopp as an AGSWks. Four of us were invested. Paul Holland as Deputy Grand Master, Peter Sinclair as Senior Grand Deacon, Ray Hodson as Junior Grand Deacon and Peter Ryan as Grand Sword Bearer.

Simon Bell and Malcolm Teasdale acted as regalia bearers for Paul Holland.
