A great night at Lodge St George's September meeting with Bro Mark Urquhart taking his First Degree. Mark is a native of Peterhead in Aberdeenshire where his brother is a member of Lodge Keith No 56 which dates from 1739.
Wonderful work from all participants with great charges featuring and some fine deacon work.
Mark was a very attentive candidate and picked up the work very quickly.
Terrific to welcome a good number of visitors.
Another highlight was a Lewis Jewel presented to Bro Brenton Arthur by his father Bro Richard Arthur. This was a 3 bar jewel with the top bar representing Brenton's great grandfather Bro Jack Brice Arthur, a former member of Balonne Lodge at St George.
